Abstract

REDUçãO DE EMISSõES DE NO~ x~ EM PROCESSOS FCC DE QUEIMA TOTAL. São apresentadas composições para a redução de emissões de NO~ x~ geradas durante o processo de craqueamento catalítico, de preferência, um processo de craqueamento catalítico fluidizado. As composições são compostas de (i) um óxido metálico acidulado não contendo substancialmente nenhum zeolito, (ii) um metal alcalino, um metal alcalino terroso, e misturas dos mesmos, (iii) um componente de armazenagem de oxigênio, (iv) paládio e (v) um componente de metal nobre, de preferência platina, ródio ou irídio, e misturas dos mesmos. De preferência, as composições são utilizadas como partículas aditivas separadas, juntamente com o estoque de catalisador FCC circulante. é obtido um teor reduzido de NO~ x~ em um efluente de gás descartado de um regenerador FCC de combustão total ou completa, simultaneamente promovendo-se a combustão de CO.
