Abstract
Sammensetninger for reduksjon av NOx-utslipp generert under katalytisk krakkingsprosess, fortrinnsvis en fluidkatalytisk krakkingsprosess er vist. Sammensetningene omfatter (i) et surt metalloksid inneholdende hovedsakelig ingen zeolitt, (ii) et alkalimetall, jordalkalimetall og blandinger derav, (iii) en oksygenlagringskomponent, (iv) palladium og (v) en edelmetallkomponent, fortrinnsvis platina, rodium eller iridium og blandinger derav. Fortrinnsvis anvendes sammensetningene som separate additiver partikler sirkulert sammen med den sirkulerende FCC-katalysatorinnmaten. Redusert innhold av NOx i en avgass av full eller fullstendig forbrennings-FCC-regenerator gjennomføres samtidig med at forbrenningen av CO promoteres.
