Abstract
ESTRUTURAS PARA CONTROLE DE FLEXãO DE FOLHA, MOLDES E PROCESSO. Processo de formar estruturas de controle de flexão, tais como fendas, ranhuras ou deslocamentos (22), em uma folha de material (21, 121, 221, 321, 421, 521, 621, 721). As estruturas de controle de flexão (22) têm porções centrais (26) se estendendo substancialmente paralelas a uma linha de flexão desejada (23) nas folhas e porções de extremidade (27) que divergem da linha de flexão (23). Em uma modalidade o processo inclui a etapa de formar as tiras de flexão (24) entre pares de porções de extremidade de fenda (27) em uma distância espaçada desejada ao longo da linha de flexão (23) com as tiras (24) tendo uma configuração desejada, e a etapa de formar as porções centrais (26) que conectam as porções de extremidade (27) para completar as fendas (22) utilizando um conjunto de moldes separado. Uma pluralidade de moldes de porção de extremidade (51/54) pode ser usada para produzir porções de extremidade (27) de diversos formatos e tiras (24) de larguras variadas, e um único conjunto de moldes de formação de porção central (71/74) é usado para conectar as porções de extremidade (27).
