Abstract

REDUTOR DO ARRASTO DE LATEX MODIFICADO E PROCESSOS PARA TAL E RELACIONADOS. A invenção refere-se a um redutor do arrasto de látex modificado e métodos de produção e uso do redutor do arrasto de modo a reduzir as perdas de fricção resultantes do fluxo de fluido turbulento através de um conduto. Particularmente, o redutor do arrasto de látex modificado é formado de um látex inicial que é um produto de uma reação de polimerização de emulsão. O látex inicial é depois modificado, preferivelmente pela mistura com pelo menos um tensoativo em HLB baixo ou pelo menos um solvente, ou ambos, para formar um látex modificado com uma taxa de dissolução intensificada em uma corrente de hidrocarboneto sobre o látex inicial.
