Abstract

Et modifisert motstandsreduserende middel av lateks og fremgangsmåter for å fremstille og anvende det motstandsreduserende middelet for å redusere friksjonstap som resulterer fra turbulent fluidstrømning gjennom et rør. Særlig er det modifiserte motstandsreduksjonen middelet av lateks dannet av en innledende lateks soni er et produkt av en emulsjonspolymerisasjonsreaksjon. Den innledende lateksen blir deretter modifisert, foretrukket ved å blande inn minst ett lavt HLB overflateaktivt middel og minst ett løsemiddel eller begge, for å danne en modifisert lateks med økt oppløsningshastighet i en hydrokarbonstrøm over den innledende lateksen.
