Abstract
PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA A PRODUÇçO DE DIàXIDO DE CLORO. A invenção se refere a um processo para a produção de diáxido de cloro em um aparelho compreendendo um vaso de reação que retém um meio de reação e um conduto de circulação que conduz através de um aquecedor para o meio de reação, referido processo compreendendo as etapas de continuamente: (a) manter o meio de reação a pressão sub-atmosférica e a uma temperatura suficiente para evaporação da água; (b) circular o meio de reação através do conduto de circulação e do aquecedor; (c) reagir clorato de metal alcalino, ácido sulfúrico e peróxido de hidrogênio no meio de reação para formar diáxido de cloro, oxigênio e sulfato de metal alcalino; (d) alimentar clorato de metal alcalino, ácido sulfúrico e peróxido de hidrogênio ao meio de reação, no qual o ácido sulfúrico é alimentado através de uma admissão no conduto de circulação, e o peróxido de hidrogênio é alimentado através de uma admissão diretamente no vaso de reação, ou através de uma admissão nas correntes descendentes do conduto de circulação da admissão para ácido sulfúrico a uma distância na direção de fluxo de pelo menos cerca de o diâmetro interno do conduto de circulação; e, (e) retirada de um gás compreendendo diáxido de cloro, oxigênio e água evaporada. A invenção se refere adicionalmente a um aparelho para a produção de diáxido de cloro.
