Abstract

Adjuvante particulado para terapia HIFU e uso do mesmo. A presente invenção descreve um agente particulado de incremento para um tratamento por ultra-som focalizado de alta intensidade (HIFU), o qual pode incrementar o depósito de energia acústica no local alvo durante o tratamento HIFU. O agente de incremento compreende uma fase descontínua formada por um material de núcleo encapsulado por um material de formação de uma membrana e por uma fase contínua compreendendo um meio aquoso; a fase descontínua é dispersa de modo uniforme na fase contínua e o tamanho de partícula da fase descontínua fica dentro da faixa de 0,1-8 im; a quantidade de material de formação da membrana no agente particulado de incremento é de 0,1-100 g/l; o material do núcleo compreende um líquido que não sofre uma transição liquido-gás a 38-1 00 °C e a quantidade do material de núcleo no agente particulado de incremento é de 5-200 ml/l. O agente particulado de incremento em emulsão de flúor carbono para um tratamento de tipo HIFU da presente invenção pode mudar, de forma significativa, o ambiente acústico do local alvo e pode aumentar o depósito de energia acústica no local alvo durante o tratamento HIFU. Eventualmente, a capacidade do tratamento HIFU clínico em reduzir as células de tumores pode ser significativamente aumentada. Desta forma, a presente invenção descreve o uso de um agente particulado de incremento em emulsão de flúor carbono para um tratamento de tipo HIFU durante um tratamento HIFU.
