Abstract

MÉTODO PARA VEDAR UM ESPAÇO ANULAR FORMADO ENTRE UM ELEMENTO TUBULAR EXPANSÍVEL DISPOSTO EM UM FURO DE POÇO E UMA PAREDE QUE CIRCUNDA O ELEMENTO TUBULAR EXPANSÍVEL. É previsto um método para vedar um espaço anular (7) entre um elemento tubular expansível (6) arranjado em um furo de poço, e uma parede que circunda o elemento tubular expansível, pelo que, uma diferença de pressão ocorre entre uma primeira localização no espaço anular e uma segunda localização no espaço anular axialmente espaçada da primeira localização. O método compreende: instalar o elemento tubular (6) no furo de poço; localizar um corpo de fluido (10) no espaço anular (7) entre ditas primeira e segunda localizações, dito fluido tendo uma resistência a escoamento selecionada de tal modo que dita diferença de pressão seja insuficiente para induzir escoamento axial do corpo de fluido no espaço anular (7) depois de expansão radial do elemento tubular (5) e expandir radialmente o elemento tubular (6).
