Abstract
EQUIPAMENTO PARA A FUNDIÇçO HORIZONTAL DE TIRAS DE AÇO. A presente invenção refere-se a um equipamento para a fundição horizontal de tiras de aço, em particular, de aço de alto teor de manganês, para a produção de uma tira prévia com uma espessura <243> 15 mm, constituído de um recipiente de alimentação que contém a fusão, de uma zona de resfriamento primária que apresenta dois roletes de desvio e uma esteira transportadora resfriada contínua, e de uma zona de resfriamento secundária adjacente que apresenta um transportador de rolos alojado nela. Neste caso, na extremidade da zona de resfriamento primária e antes do início da zona de resfriamento secundária está disposto um elemento de guia (2) que apresenta, pelo menos, um rolete (11).
