Abstract
RESINAS DE AMINA-ALDEÍDO MODIFICADAS E USOS DAS MESMAS EM PROCESSOS DE SEPARAÇçO. Resinas modificadas são mostradas para remoção de uma ampla variedade de espécies sólidas e/ou iônicas dos líquidos nos quais elas estão suspensas e/ou dissolvidas. Estas resinas modificadas são especialmente úteis como rebaixadores de flotação de escuma no beneficiamento de muitos tipos de materiais (por exemplo, minérios metálicos e minerais), incluindo o beneficiamento de carvão impuro compreendendo impurezas de argila, assim como na separação de betume valioso a partir de contaminantes sólidos como areia. As resinas modificadas são úteis para tratamento de suspensões líquidas aquosas para remoção de partículas sólidas, assim como para remoção de ions metálicos na purificação de água. As resinas modificadas compreendem uma resina base que é modificada com um agente de acoplamento, que é altamente seletivo para ligação a contaminantes sólidos e especialmente materiais silicosos como areia ou argila.
