Abstract
RESINAS DE AMINA-ALDEìDO MODIFICADAS E SEUS USOS EM PROCESSOS DE SEPARAçãO. São reveladas resinas modificadas para remover uma ampla variedade de espécies sólidas e/ou jónicas dos líquidos nos quais elas estão suspensas e/ou dissolvidas. Estas resinas modificadas são especialmente usadas como depressores de flotação em espuma no beneficiamento de muitos tipos de materiais (por exemplo, minérios de minerais e metais), incluindo o beneficiamento de carvão impuro compreendendo impurezas de argila, bem como na separação de betume valiosos dos contaminantes sólidos tal como areia. As resinas modificadas são também usadas para tratar suspensões líquidas aquosas para facilitar a remoção de particulados sólidos, bem como a remoção de ions metálicos na purificação de água. As resinas modificadas compreendem uma resina base que é modificada com um agente de acoplamento, que é altamente seletivo para ligar a contaminantes sólidos e especialmente materiais siliciosos tal como areia ou argila.
