Abstract
SALTO RESTRITO EM SISTEMAS DE COMUNICAÇçO SEM FIO. As modalidades descritas proporcionam alocação de recursos para uma transmissão para um dispositivo sem fio. A banda de freqúências é particionada em pelo menos duas sub-bandas contíguas. É efetuada uma determinação sobre se é desejável a transmissão através de uma única sub-banda ou através de mais de uma sub-banda. A transmissão é designada para ocorrer ou através da sub-banda única ou para operar através de mais de uma sub-banda. Caso a transmissão seja restrita a uma sub-banda, o padrão ou configuração dos saltos é também restrito a subportadoras dentro da sub-banda especifica.
