Abstract

MÉTODO E APARELHO PARA O POSICIONAMENTO DE ELEMENTOS DE CHAPA A SEREM SOLDADOS TOPO A TOPO. A presente invenção refere-se a elementos de chapa que são soldados topo a topo para a formação de uma linha de solda em um pequeno espaço de tempo de modo a aumentar a capacidade de trabalho da soldagem topo a topo. Os elementos de chapa (17) são respectivamente assentados sobre uma primeira mesa e uma segunda mesa (1A) e (1B), relativamente móveis uma na direção da outra e para fora uma da outra. Os elementos de chapa (17) são justapostos contra os elementos de posicionamento de referência (16a) e (16b) dos dispositivos de posicionamento de referência projetados na frente e sobre as extremidades opostas (1') das mesas (lA) e (1B) de modo que as extremidades opostas dos elementos de chapa (17) sejam posicionados na saliência à frente das extremidades opostas (1') das mesas (1 A) e (1 B), e os elementos de chapa (17) são posicionados lateralmente. Em seguida, os elementos de chapa posicionados (17) são travados sobre as mesas (lA) e (1 B). Depois de os dispositivos de posicionamento de referência se retrairem, as mesas (1 A) e (1 B) se movimentam relativamente uma na direção da outra de modo a fazer com que as extremidades opostas dos elementos de chapa (17) se justaponham para a formação de uma linha de solda X.
