Abstract

MéTODO DE TRATAMENTO SUPERFICIAL DE ESTRUTURAS DE MATERIAL COMPOSTO COM FEIXES DE PLASMA ATMOSFéRICO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método de tratamento superficial de zonas predeterminadas de uma estrutura de material composto com, pelo menos, um feixe de plasma em pressão atmosférica, que é produzido por um gerador de plasma dotado de um bocal de emissão, para facilitar sua união adesiva a outra estrutura, no qual: a) o feixe de plasma emitido pelo bocal se projeta sobre a estrutura de material composto a uma distância a partir da mesma compreendida entre 0,2 e 10 cm; e b) o feixe de plasma se projeta sobre a estrutura de material composto com um ângulo de incidência compreendido entre 75° e 105°. O método é preferivelmente aplicado a estruturas de fibra de carbono ou fibra de vidro e resina epóxi ou resina de bismaleimida. Outras variáveis relevantes do procedimento são a potência do feixe de plasma e a velocidade de tratamento.
