Abstract
"MOSTRADOR DE PONTA DE CATETER COM DIREçãO DE FEIXE PARA SISTEMA DE ULTRA-SOM". A presente invenção refere-se a um sistema de formação de imagem médica, para formar imagem de um corpo de paciente, inclui um cateter que tem um sensor de posição e um sensor de formação de imagem ultra-sónica, no qual o sensor de posição transmite sinais elétricos indicativos de informação de posição de uma porção do cateter em um corpo de paciente, e o sensor de formação de imagem ultra-sónica transmite energia ultra-sónica em um alvo no corpo do paciente, recebe ecos ultra-sónicos refletidos a partir do alvo no corpo do paciente e transmite sinais relacionados a ecos ultra-sónicos refletidos a partir do alvo no corpo do paciente. Um processador de posicionamento é conectado operacionalmente ao cateter para determinar a informação de posição da porção do cateter com base nos sinais elétricos transmitidos pelo sensor de posição. O sistema também inclui um mostrador e um processador de imagem conectados operacionalmente ao cateter, ao processador de posicionamento e a um mostrador. O processador de imagem apresenta sobre o mostrador um ícone de cateter em uma mesma orientação como uma orientação da porção do cateter no corpo do paciente com base em informação de posição derivada do sensor de posição.
