Abstract

"DISPOSITIVO APLICADOR DE ANEL ANASTOMóTICO QUE UTILIZA UM POLìMERO ELETROATIVO". A presente invenção refere-se a um instrumento cirúrgico que é operável para desdobrar um dispositivo de anel anastomótico. O instrumento compreende um mecanismo de desdobramento de anel configurado para receber e desdobrar o anel anastomótico através de uma força de atuação. O instrumento ainda compreende um polímero eletroativo que está configurado para receber uma voltagem de uma fonte de energia. O polímero eletroativo está configurado para converter a voltagem em uma força de atuação mecânica. O polímero eletroativo está ainda configurado para aplicar a força de atuação no mecanismo de desdobramento de anel para desdobrar o anel anastomótico.
