Abstract

PROCESSO PARA RECUPERAçãO DE ESPéCIES METáLICAS VALIOSAS DE UMA MATéRIA-PRIMA DO TIPO LATERITA. Um processo essencialmente em circuito aberto para a recuperação de espécies metálicas valiosas de uma matéria-prima do tipo laterita, o processo compreendendo as etapas seqüenciais ou não seqüenciais de separação da matéria-prima do tipo laterita em uma primeira e uma segunda tração; reação de um ácido com um sal de cloreto em um primeiro compartimento, desse modo, gerando HCl gasoso; cloração da primeira fração com o HC1 gasoso em um segundo compartimento, desse modo, produzindo uma fração clorada, em que HCl em excesso é recuperado e dissolvido em água, desse modo, produzindo uma solução de HCl concentrada; combinação da fração clorada e da segunda fração em uma mistura; lixiviação da mistura com a solução de HCl concentrada em um terceiro compartimento, desse modo, produzindo uma massa de reação; sujeição da massa de reação a uma separação de fases, desse modo, separando um resíduo insolúvel de uma solução principal; e recuperação seletiva de espécies metálicas valiosas da solução principal.
