Abstract

"ACIONAMENTO DE ACESSóRIO DE MOTOR USANDO A PARTE EXTERNA DE UMA CORREIA DE DOIS LADOS PARA OPERAR UM VENTILADOR DE RESFRIAMENTO COM REBORDO". A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a instalação de uma correia de acionamento de acessório (28) em uma instalação de motor. Com um rebordo de anel (40)no lugar circundando o ventilador (16), a correia é puxada em torno da polia do virabrequim (32), uma polia do ventilador (22)e pelo menos uma polia adicional (30, 34, 38)sem passar a correia através da folga radial entre o ventilador e a correia. Em uma modalidade, a parte externa da correia puxa em torno da polia do ventilador e a parte interna, em torno da polia do virabrequim. Em outra modalidade, a parte externa da correia puxa em torno tanto da polia do ventilador, quanto da polia do virabrequim.
