Abstract

COMPOSIçãO SUPRESSORA DE POEIRA A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição supressora de poeira que compreende uma solução aquosa de poli(álcool vinílico), látex à base de acrílico, glicerina, tensoativo à base de silicone e um agente molhante à base de polissiloxano. Preferivelmente, a composição compreende cerca de 10 a cerca de 46% de poli álcool vinílico), de cerca de 20 a cerca de 60% de látex à base de acrílico, de cerca de 0,6 a cerca de 7% de glicerina, de cerca de 0,1 a cerca de 1,5% em peso de tensoativo à base de silicone e de cerca de 0,001 a cerca de 0,5% de agente molhante à base de polissiloxano. A composição proporciona um filme de polímero sobre um material formador de poeira formando, assim, uma camada homogênea e resistente. A presente composição, que é aplicada sobre o material formador de a(preferivelmente pulverizada sobre o material) e secada à temperatura ambiente, apresenta uma tensão superficial baixa resultando em melhor molhamento das partículas e aglomeração do material. As duas últimas propriedades asseguram que há menos rompimento do filme de polímero durante uso ou aplicação contínua (por exemplo, durante transporte dos materiais formadores de poeira) A referida tensão superficial está entre cerca de 20 x 10¬?5¬ e cerca de 278 x 10¬?5¬ N/cm (cerca de 20 e cerca de 27 dinas/cm) , e preferivelmente, cerca de 25 x 10¬?5¬ N/cm (25 dinas/cm).
