Abstract

"PROCEDIMENTOS GUIADOS PARA TRATAMENTO DE FIBRILAçãO DO áTRIO". A presente invenção refere-se a um coração de um paciente que inclui colocar um cateter ultra-sónico em uma primeira câmara do coração; adquirir imagens ultra-sónicas bidimensionais de uma segunda câmara do coração e pelo menos uma porção das estruturas circundantes da segunda câmara usando o cateter ultra-sónico colocado na primeira câmara; reconstruir uma imagem ultra-sónica tridimensional com base nas imagens ultrasónicas bidimensionais; exibir a imagem ultra-sónica tridimensional reconstruída; identificar pelo menos um marco divisório essencial na imagem ultrasónica tridimensional reconstruída; marcar pelo menos um marco divisório essencial na imagem ultra-sónica tridimensional reconstruída; penetrar o septo para acessar a segunda câmara do coração enquanto usando pelo menos um marco divisório essencial marcado para orientação; posicionar um revestimento através do septo penetrado e dentro da segunda câmara do coração; inserir um cateter de ablação através do revestimento e para dentro da segunda câmara do coração e remover uma porção da segunda câmara do coração usando o cateter de ablação enquanto sob observação com o cateter de ultra-som localizado na primeira câmara do coração.
