Abstract

"POLIóIS POLIMéRICOS DE BAIXA VISCOSIDADE CARACTERIZADOS POR UM NúMERO DE HIDROXILA ELEVADO". A presente invenção refere-se a novos polióis poliméricos que possuem viscosidades baixas e números de hidroxila elevados, e a um processo para a preparação destes novos polióis poliméricos. Estes polióis poliméricos possuem números de hidroxila de <242> 20, conteúdos de sólidos de cerca de 30 a cerca de 65 % em peso e uma viscosidade que é menor ou igual a: be ¬¢2,7c¬! . Estes compreendem o produto de reação de um poliol de base, um estabilizante preformado e pelo menos um monómero etilenicamente insaturado, na presença de um iniciador da polimerização de radical livre e pelo menos um agente de controle polimérico. O poliol de base possui um número de hidroxila de 60 a 1900, uma funcionalidade de 1 a 10, e um peso equivalente de 30 a 900.
