Abstract

DISPOSITIVO BIODEGRADáVEL PARA ADMINISTRAçãO INTRA-OCULAR DE FáRMACOS A presente invenção diz respeito a processo de produção de formulação farmacêutica capaz de tratar degenerações retinianas e doenças do segmento posterior do bulbo do olho, tais como retinopatia diabética; degeneração macular ligada à idade; retinite por citomegalovírus; endoftalmite; uveítes. A dita formulação compreende um sistema monolítico do ativo composta por uma matiz é base de polímero biodegradável da classe dos poli-ésteres. A formulação é aplicável é administração pela via intra-ocular. O dispositivo biodegradável em questão pode veicular um ou mais fármacos das classes dos corticóides, como a dexametasona, a prednisolona e a triancinolona, antiinflamatórios não esteroidais, antibióticos, agentes imunossupressores, como a ciclosporina e o tacrolimus e agentes antiproliferativos.
