Abstract

TlNTAS DE MUDANçA DE FASE. A presente invenção refere-se a uma composição de tinta de mudança de fase compreendendo um veículo de tinta e um corante, a referida tinta sendo apropriada para uso em um processo de impressão indireta, onde a tinta é jateada de um cabeçote de impressão para um elemento de transferência intermediário aquecido e subseqüentemente transferida do elemento de transferência intermediário para um substrato de registro final, onde: (a) a tinta pode ser jateada do cabeçote de impressão para o elemento de transferência intermediário quando a tinta é mantida a uma temperatura de cerca de l25<198>C ou menos; (b) a tinta pode ser jateada sem purga de uma impressora mantida a uma temperatura de modo de espera de cerca de 100<198>C ou menos; e (c) a tinta possui uma temperatura de falha coesiva de pelo menos cerca de 56<198>C.
