Abstract

FONTE DE CAMPO DE MúLTIPLOS COMPONENTES PARA LEVANTAMENTO DE FORMAçõES SUBMARINAS, E MéTODO PARA PERFILAGEM DE FORMAçõES SUBMARINAS. Trata-se de uma fonte de campo de múltiplos componentes para levantamentos de formações submarinas que inclui pelo menos dois eletrodos possuindo uma direção de movimento, em que os pelo menos dois eletrodos são configurados para produzirem um dipólo elétrico em uma orientação que não é paralela nem à direção de movimento dos eletrodos nem ao leito marinho. Um método para perfilagem de formações submarinas inclui a transmissão de energia eletromagnética para formações submarinas com pelo menos dois eletrodos possuindo uma direção de movimento e configurados para produzirem um dipólo elétrico em uma orientação que não é paralela nem à direção de movimento dos eletrodos nem ao leito marinho; e recepção de sinais que compreendem energia eletromagnética que atravessou as formações submarinas.
