Abstract
PASTILHA DE METAL DURO PARA OPERAçõES DE PERFURAçãO DE FURO DEMANDANDO DUREZA. A presente invenção se refere a uma pastilha de corte revestida com excelentes propriedades de dureza (resistência ao desgaste), particularmente útil para perfuração de furo curto demandando dureza em baixa liga (low alloy) e aços inoxidáveis, em que as inserções compreendem um substrato e um revestimento, e também se refere a um método de fabricação da mesma. Em concordância com a presente invenção, a referida pastilha de corte está caracterizada pelo fato de que: - o substrato consiste de WC, 8 % em peso - 11 % em peso de Co e 0,2% em peso -0,5% em peso de Cr com uma média de tamanho de grão de WC de 0,5 <109>m - 1,5 <109>m e uma proporção de CW de 0,80 - 0,90; e- o revestimento compreende uma estrutura laminar, em múltiplas camadas, de TiN+Ti~ 1-x~Al~ x~N+TiN+Ti~ 1-x~Al~ x~N+TiN.... em forma policristalina, não repetitiva, com x = 0,4 - 0,6 com uma espessura das camadas TiN- ou Ti~ 1-x~A1~ x~N- individuais de 1 nm - 30 nm variando essencialmente randomicamente, e com uma espessura total do revestimento em múltiplas camadas de 1 <109> - 5 <109>m. Segundo a presente invenção, o método de fabricação da pastilha de corte compreendendo um substrato de metal duro e um revestimento consiste da deposição das camadas pela evaporação de arco catódico a partir de fontes de arco utilizando a técnica de evaporação de arco catódico.
