O referido metido usa um dispositivo de transmissão de energia (1.1) compreendendo uma cadeia de tração consistindo de um motor térmico (2), uma embreagem (3), um mecanismo elétrico (4), e rodas (6). A invenção é caracterizada por o referido método rapidamente acelerar o veículo quando ele é paralisado, iniciando o motor térmico (2) concomitantemente com a atuação do mecanismo elétrico (4) usando um sistema de arranque (7) mecanicamente independente do mecanismo elétrico (4).
