Abstract

Compósitos termoplásticos de fibras longas, método de manufatura destes e artigos derivados destes. é descrito um compósito de fibra longa e condutor elétrico o qual oferece uma resistência elétrica superficial e/ou uma resistência ao impacto melhoradas quando empregado em um produto moldado. O compósito compreende uma resina termoplástica; fibras de carbono longas; e fibras de vidro longas; no qual as fibras de carbono longas e as fibras de vidro longas apresentam um comprimento maior ou igual a cerca de 2 milímetros e sendo que o compósito de fibra longa e condutor elétrico, ao ser moldado em um artigo, apresenta uma resistência superficial menor ou igual a cerca de 10^ 8^ ohm por centímetro quadrado e uma resistência ao impacto lzod maior ou igual a acerca de 10 KJ por metro quadrado.
