Abstract

ARQUITETURA DE DECODIFIC.ADOR PARA GERENCIANENTO OTIMIZADO DE ERRO EM MULTIMìDIA DE FLUXO CONTìNUO. Sâo revelados um método e um equipamento para integração de múltiplas camadas para uso na recuperação de erro. Um erro é detectado em dados de multimídia com base em um protocolo de primeira camada e o erro detectado nos dados de multimídia é oculto com base em um protocolo de segunda camada. Em um aspecto, o erro em dados de multimídia é detectado com base em um prorocolo de camada de comunicação e controlado com base em um protocolo de camada de transporte. Uma distribuição de erro do erro controlado é então determinada com base em um protocolo de camada de sincronização e o erro detectado nos dados de multimídia é oculto com base em um protocolo de camada de aplicação. Em outro aspecto, um método e equipamenco para processamento de dados de multimídia compreendem recuperação de erro assim como capacidade de escalonamento. Finalmente, um método e equipamento conforme revelados permitem o processamento do fluxo de multimídia mediante recebimento de múltiplos fluxos de dados de multimídia codificados, realizar recuperação de erro em uma porção errónea de um fluxo, e reconstruir os dados de muitimídia a partir dos múltiplos fluxos.
