Abstract
Gerência de QoS em malhas de redes sem fio. Uma malha de rede inclui uma pluralidade de pontos da malha (MPs), uma base de dados central (DB) e uma unidade central de controle (CC). Os MPs são configurados para transmitir informação da qualidade do serviço (QoS) sobre um meio sem fio. Cada MP pode pedir a informação de QoS diretamente de pelo menos outro dos MPs. Os MPs armazenam a informação de QoS no DB central e são configurados para inquirir a informação QoS central do DB associado com os alguns dos MPs. Assim, a informação de QoS é compartilhada durante todo a malha de rede, e as políticas de QoS são definidas e atualizadas; onde um MP pode coexistir com um outro MP, um MP pode coexistir com os sistemas externos à malha de rede, e um MP pode coexistir com pontos de acesso da malha (MAPs).
