Abstract

PROTETOR DE CANTO OU BORDA EXIBINDO ELEVADAS PROPRIEDADES DE RIGIDEZ E RESISTêNCIA A FLEXãO. Um novo e aperfeiçoado protetor externo de canto é fabricado a partir de determinados materiais, e compreende uma porção de vértice (112), e um par de elementos de aba (114, 116), que divergem para fora com um determinado ângulo incluído, um com relação ao outro, a partir da porção de vértice. A porção de vértice e as porções extremas distais dos elementos de aba possuem dimensões de seção transversal relativamente alargadas, com relação às dimensões de seção transversal compreendendo aquelas porções dos elementos de aba, que interligam integralmente as porções extremas distais dos elementos de aba à porção de vértice, onde as dimensões de seção transversal relativamente alargadas servem para reforçar a porção de vértice e para dispor somente essas porções extremas distais relativamente alargadas dos elementos de aba com os elementos de parede lateral externa da carga paletizada, que define a região externa de canto sendo protegida. Desta maneira, os elementos de aba do protetor externo de canto são mais flexionados, do que tem sido convencionalmente o caso, assim que forças são geradas e transmitidas para a porção de vértice, a fim de enrijecer a mesma, pelo qual a porção de vértice irá exibir elevadas propriedades de rigidez à flexão e de resistência a dobramento com relação às forças externas, que podem ser exercidas sobre o protetor externo de canto, tendendo assim a flexionar ou dobrar o mesmo.
