Abstract

SISTEMA DE EIXO/SUSPENSãO DE VEìCULO PARA TRABALHO PESADO. Um sistema de eixo/suspensão para um veículo para trabalho pesado, em que o veículo inclui um chassi que se estende em uma direção longitudinal em relação ao veículo. O sistema de eixo/suspensão é fixado ao chassi de veículo por meio de pelo menos um suporte e inclui pelo menos uma viga, a qual inclui uma primeira extremidade e uma segunda extremidade. A primeira extremidade da viga é conectada ao suporte, e a segunda extremidade da viga captura de forma imóvel um eixo, o qual se estende - em uma direção transversal em relação ao veículo. A viga é formada de um material composto e tem uma seção transversal substancialmente constante na direção transversal para fornecer resistência suficiente para controlar as forças de balanço encontradas pelo veículo durante a operação.
