Abstract

método para controlar um processo para produzir um polímero em pelo menos um reator e método para controlar um processo para produzir uma composição de polimero. a invenção é direcionada a um sistema de polimerização e um método para controlar as propriedades durante a produção de composições bimodais e multimodais de polimeros usando pelo menos uma variável manipulada para minimizar desvios dinâmicos das características do polimero. em concretizações particulares, o método de controle inclui determinar uma propriedade da resina baseada em valores ou estimativas ou variáveis de processo correntes e/ou anteriores de características do polimero. desta maneira, as ações de controle servem para reduzir transtornos de processo ou facilitar na transição para novos produtos ou graus de produto de maneira a reduzir a quantidade de materiais de resina fora de especificação produzidos durante a transição ou durante a manufatura em estado estacionário.
