Padrão de Referência Contendo Sequência Nucleotídica, Processo para a Detecção e/ou Quantificação de Seqúências Nucleotídicas, e Kit. A presente invenção proporciona meios práticos e eficazes pelos quais sequências nucleotídicas de qualquer organismo podem ser utilizadas como padrões em sistemas de detecção e/ou quantificação, notadamente nos casos em que são empregadas técnicas de amplificação de ácidos nucléicos. Os padrões de referência da invenção são úteis na quantificação de seqúências nucleotidicas e/ou de organismos em tecidos, fluidos biológicos, alimentos e cosméticos, a partir do emprego da técnica de Reação de Polimerase em Cadeia, preferencialmente associada à fluorescência, ou PCR em Tempo Real. As aplicações da invenção incluem a geração de dados em pesquisa que envolva quantificação de ácidos nucléicos, incluindo DNA e/ou RNA, bem como dos organismos que os contêm, como patógenos virais ou bacterianos, sendo, portanto, útil em serviços de diagnóstico hospitalar para detecção e quantificação de patógenos em quadros de infecção e na indústria alimentícia e de cosméticos.
