Abstract

ARAME DE AÇO DE ALTA RESISTÊNCIA EXCELENTE EM DUCTILIDADE E MÉTODO DE PRODUÇçO DO MESMO. A presente invenção fornece um, vergalhão excelente em ductilidade e um arame de aço produzido a partir do vergalhão como material de partida com alta produtividade a um bom rendimento e baixo custo. Um vergalhão de aço duro de composição especificada é aquecido em uma faixa de temperaturas especificada para conduzir o patenteamento pós-reaustenitização e assim obter-se um arame de aço de alto carbono excelente em ductilidade que tenha uma estrutura perlita de uma razão de área de 97% ou mais e o saldo de estruturas não-perlita inclusive bainita, perlita degenerada e ferrita pró-eutectôide e cuja área de redução de fratura RA satisfaz as Ex- pressões (1), (2) e (3) abaixo: RA <242> RAmin Em que RAmin (1) = a - b x tamanho do bloco de perlita (<109>m) a = - 0,0001187 x TS (MPa)²+0,31814 TS( MPa) - 151,32 (2) b = 0,0007445 x TS (MPa) - 0,3753 (3)
