Abstract
DISPOSITIVO DE LIMPEZA AUTOPROPULSIONADO PARA CABOS FLUTUANTES SìSMICOS MARINHOS. Um dispositivo de limpeza para um cabo flutuante sísmico inclui um alojamento posicionável na parte externa do cabo flutuante. Uma turbina é associada ao alojamento e configurada de modo a ser acionada rotativamente por meio do movimento do cabo flutuante através de um corpo de água. Um elemento de transmissão é associado ao alojamento e configurado de modo a converter o movimento rotacional da turbina a uma força motora a fim de movimentar o alojamento ao longo do cabo flutuante. Pelo menos um elemento de limpeza é associado ao alojamento e encaixado de maneira cooperativa ao exterior do cabo flutuante sísmico. Um método para a limpeza de um cabo flutuante inclui o reboque do cabo flutuante através da água. O movimento da água é convertido em força motora a fim de movimentar um dispositivo de limpeza ao longo do cabo flutuante.
