Abstract
"PROCESSO E CATALISADOR PARA A PRODUçãO DE DIMETILéTER". A presente invenção se refere a um processo para produção de DME, caracterizado pelo fato de compreender etapa de desidratação de metanol na fase de vapor na presença de um catalisador compreendendo, como um componente ativo, uma peneira molecular de silicoaluminofosfato (SAPO) tendo uma acidez média mínima de 0,5-1 mmol por grama de peneira seca à uma temperatura na faixa de 160°C a 280°C. A invenção também se refere ao referido catalisador, bem como a processos para sua preparação e regeneração.
