Abstract
EXIBIçãO DE IMAGEM ULTRA-SOM MELHORADA presente invenção refere-se à utilização de cateteres cardíacos especializados para a aquisição de imagem, as características do coração sendo prontamente identificáveis sobre uma imagem de ultra-som, com base em um mapa de ativação elétrico do coração anteriormente gerado. O mapa de ativação elétrico é automaticamente registrado com a imagem de ultra-som utilizando as informações obtidas de sensores de posição dentro dos cateteres. As características identificáveis no mapa de ativação elétrico, apresentadas como pontos, indicadores, linhas de desenho, e identificação textual, são projetadas dentro do plano do leque de ultra-som e sobrepostas à imagem de ultra-som, por meio disto esclarecendo as características que estão visíveis sobre a última.
