Abstract

PROCESSO PARA A PRODUçãO DE FIOS POLIMéRICOS DE ALTA TENACIDADE E BAIXA FLUêNCIA, FIOS POLIMéRICOS OU COPOLIMéRICOS DE ALTA TENACIDADE E BAIXA FLUêNCIA, E, USO DOS FIOS POLIMéRICOS. A presente invenção se refere a um processo para a produção de fios poliméricos de alta tenacidade e baixa fluência, que compreende as seguintes etapas: (a) preparar uma mistura de: (i) um primeiro polímero ou copolímero poliolefinico de ultra alto peso molecular, (ii) um segundo polímero ou copolímero poliolefmico nanocompósito de argila, (iii) um solvente de fiação apolar, (b) alimentar a suspensão resultante em uma extrusora a uma temperatura de pelo menos 180°C para formação de um gel, (c) fiar o gel obtido em uma fieira com razão de comprimento/diâmetro (L/D) maior que 15, (d) submeter o fio a um resfriamento a uma temperatura inferior a 2°C, (e) posterior remoção do solvente de fiação apolar, e (f) estirar o fio obtido até atingir tenacidade superior a 18 cN/Dtex e uma fluência inferior a 0,07%/hora, sendo que o primeiro polímero ou copolímero poliolefinico de ultra alto peso molecular possui peso molecular ponderal médio maior que 2.000.000 g/mol e uma polidispersividade superior a 7, e que o segundo polímero ou copolímero poliolefinico nanocompósito de argila é obtido por polimerização iii situ de uma olefina e uma argila lamelar esfoliada, sendo que a poliolefina obtida tem peso molecular ponderal médio de pelo menos 400.000 g/mol.
