Abstract

UTILIZAçãO DE áCIDO 2-HIDRóXI-4-METILTIOBUTANóICO Utilização de ácido 2-hidróxi-4-metiltiobutanóico (HMTB) como indutor, em planta, da síntese de etileno e poliaminas, principalmente putrescina, capaz de regular os processos de maturação do fruto, tanto com relação â abscisão de fruto, como com relação à cor e teor de açúcares, contendo elementos minerais como fósforo, potássio e nitrogênio.
