Abstract

ACOPLADOR DIRECIONAL Acoplador direcional com dois condutores sensores e um acoplador básico e um acoplador suplementar que a eles corresponde. O acoplador básico se baseia no acoplamento entre um primeiro condutor sensor (421) e o condutor de transmissão (410), e o acoplador suplementar se baseia no acoplamento entre um segundo condutor sensor (422) e o condutor de transmissão. Os condutores sensores são substancialmente mais curtos que um quarto de onda, devido a que a diretividade tanto do acoplador básico como a do suplementar é baixa. As outras extremidades dos condutores sensores estão conectadas entre si e ainda à porta de medição do acoplador direcional. Os sinais de acoplamento provocados pelo sinal reverso no ponto de conexão dos condutores sensores são dispostos igualmente por seus valores absolutos, mas com fases opostas, caso em que seus sinais de soma na porta de medição são insignificantemente pequenos. Para tanto, por exemplo, a linha de transmissão formada pelo primeiro condutor sensor e a terra termina com um elemento de adaptação em sua extremidade oposta, e a linha de transmissão formada pelo segundo condutor sensor e a terra é deixada aberta em sua extremidade oposta. As impedâncias de terminação podem ser ajustáveis, senso assim o acoplador direcional sintonizável. Assim, a diretividade do acoplador direcional total é aperfeiçoada por meio do segundo condutor sensor. O acoplador direcional tem pequenas dimensões e sendo obtida boa diretividade em uma ampla faixa de freqüências.
