Abstract

ACOPLADOR DIRECIONAL. Acoplador direcional (500), que compreende um substrato dielétrico (501) na parte superior de uma placa de metal (510), funciona como plano de aterramento. O caminho de transmissão é uma linha suspensa de fitas, de maneira que existe um recesso no plano de aterramento abaixo do condutor de transmissão (520) que se situa na superfície do substrato. O condutor sensor (530) é uma fita condutora de dimensões muito pequenas na superfície do substrato. Foi conectada em sua extremidade frontal com a porta de medição (P3) e a partir de sua extremidade traseira por meio de um resistor de terminação (550) a uma pequena fita de aterramento (515). A fita de aterramento está próxima ao condutor sensor no lado da porta de saída (P2) do acoplador direcional. Com esta estrutura assimétrica, é obtida alguma diretividade, apesar das pequenas dimensões do condutor sensor. Também, abaixo do condutor sensor (530) existe um recesso (506) no plano de aterramento, que liga o recesso abaixo ao condutor de transmissão (520) . Dimensionando adequadamente o recesso abaixo do condutor sensor, as velocidades das formas de onda pares e ímpares que ocorrem na linha constituída por este e o plano de aterramento, são obtidas iguais, podendo assim ser aperfeiçoada a diretividade, O acoplador direcional economiza espaço na placa de circuitos. Como o substrato, pode ser usado um material comum de placa de circuitos, de acordo com o que a placa pode ter, além do acoplador direcional, também outras peças de circuitos de radiofreqüência. O acoplador direcional não exige sintonização na produção.
