Abstract
SELIM DE BICICLETA. A invenção refere-se a um selim de bicicleta, do tipo que apresenta duas porções idênticas (1, 1'), longitudinalmente simétricas. Em particular, tal selim constitui um aprimoramento daqueledescrito no pedido de patente No. VI2004A000204, do mesmo depositante. Devido à sua especial conformação, tal selim permite especialmente que o usuário evite o inicio de patologias causadas normalmente pelo uso de selins de competição do tipo conhecido, evitando o esmagamento das estruturas vasculares do períneo, dos testículos nos homens e do clitóris nas mulheres; sua geometria permite uma ação de pedalar sem o atrito dos músculos femurais, em particular dos músculos gráceis e adutores. O selim, de acordo com a invenção apresenta recursos que permitem um uso ideal de dito selim quando o ciclista pedala em condições climáticas adversas, em particular em caso de chuva (figura 1).
