Abstract

DISPOSITIVO DE VEDAçãO COM CRISTAS PARA TUBULAçãO DE AçO INOXIDáVEL CORRUGADA. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de vedação e método para vedar um comprimento de tubulação com um acessório, onde o dispositivo de vedação inclui, no mínimo, uma superfície de vedação forma- da com uma pluralidade de cristas. O dispositivo de vedação é particularmente útil para vedar no mínimo uma corrugação extrema de tubulação em um acessório utilizado em sistemas de tubulação para gás e líquido. O acessório é dimensionado para manter uma forma genericamente circular da corrugação extrema depois que a corrugação é dobrada entre a superfície de vedação com crista e uma outra superfície de vedação. Em particular, um diâmetro interno de um ou mais componentes do acessório pode ser dimensionado de modo que a tubulação corrugada terá um perfil circular para fornecer uma vedação otimizada.
