Abstract
MéTODO PARA AUMENTAR A RESISTêNCIA A TENSãO ABIóTICA EM PLANTAS COM RELAçãO àS PLANTAS DE CONTROLE, E, USO DE UMA CONSTRUçãO. A presente invenção diz respeito no geral ao campo da biologia molecular e diz respeito a um método para melhorar várias características do crescimento vegetal pela modulação da expressão em uma planta de um ácido nucleico que codifica um GRP (Proteína Relacionada com o Crescimento). A presente invenção também diz respeito a plantas tendo expressão modulada de um ácido nucleico que codifica um GRP, cujas plantas tem características de crescimento melhoradas com relação às plantas do tipo selvagem correspondentes ou outras plantas de controle. A invenção também fornece construções úteis nos métodos da invenção. A GRP pode ser uma das seguintes: Quinase semelhante ao receptor de extensina (ERLK), polipeptídeo F-Box WD4O (FBXW), Proteína de ligação de RAN (RANBP), Fator de Transcrição semelhante a Golden2 (GLK), Polipeptídeo de domínio zíper de leucina de homeodomínio REV delta, proteína CLE e proteína reguladora do crescimento de semente (SYR).
