Abstract

PROCESSO PARA PRODUZIR UM PRODUTO DE NANOPARTÍCULAS DE BIOPOLÍMERO. Um processo parta produzir um produto de nanopartículas de biopolímero é descrito. No processo, carga de alimentação de biopolímero e um plastificante são alimentados em uma zona de alimentação de um extrusor tendo uma configuração de parafuso de modo que a carga de alimentação de biopolímero seja processada usando forças cisallhantes no extrusor, e um agente de reticulação é adicionado no extrusor a jusante da zona de alimentação. O processo tem uma taxa de produção de maior do que ou igual a 1,0 tonelada métrica de produto por hora. A carga de alimentação de biopolímero e o plastificante são preferivelmente adicionados separadamente na zona de alimentação. O extrusor pode ter elementos de filete individuais na zona de alimentação. As temperaturas na seção intermediárias do extrusor são preferivelmente mantidas acima de 1.000ºC. A configuração de parafuso pode incluir duas ou mais seções de vedação de vapor.
