Abstract

Método para controlar a pressão em excesso em um sistema de suprimento de combustível de um tipo de trilho comum. Um método para controlar a pressão em excesso em um sistema de suprimento de combustível de um tipo do trilho comum para um motor de combustão interna (2) fornecido com um número de cilindros (3); o método possui as etapas de: fornecimento do combustivel sob pressão a um trilho comum (5) conectado a um número de injetores (4) através de uma bomba de alta pressão (6); detecção do valor efetivo da pressão do combustivel dentro do trilho comum (5); comparação do valor efetivo da pressão do combustível dentro do trilho comum (5) com um valor de segurança; determinação de uma condição de emergência se o valor efetivo da pressão do combustível dentro do trilho comum (5) for maior do que o valor de segurança; e acionamento, no caso de emergência, dos injetores (4) para descarregar parte do combustível presente no trilho comum (5) de modo a conter o aumento na pressão do combustível dentro do trilho comum (5).
