Abstract
ELEMENTO AUTOPERFURANTE. A presente invenção refere-se a um elemento autoperfurante 1, que pode ser preso em um componente estrutural 5 por meio de perfuração e detenção. Adicionalmente, a presente invenção descreve um aparelho para assentar o elemento autoperfurante 1 e um método correspondente. O elemento autoperfurante 1 compreende uma cabeça funcional 10, uma geometria de assentamento 30 e uma geometria de corte 20, embora a geometria de corte 20 tenha uma inclinação externa de centralização disposta radialmente para fora 22, uma inclinação interna disposta radialmente para dentro 24 e uma borda cortante 26 disposta entre elas.
