Abstract

método para determinar a umidade do gás aplicado a um usuário, sistema de tratamento de paciente, método para determinar a umidade do gás dentro de um circuito do paciente, método para aplicar o gás de uma fonte de gás a um paciente ao longo de um circuito do paciente. trata-se de um sistema de tratamento de paciente (10), em que o método compreende um circuito do paciente (12), um módulo de epressurização de fluxo (16) disposto no circuito do paciente, um umidificador (18) disposto no circuito do paciente, um monitor (50), sensores (22) dentro do circuito do paciente e um processador (28) . o circuito do paciente aplica um fluxo de gás de uma fonte de gás a uma via aérea de um paciente. o módulo de pressurização de fluxo eleva a pressão do gás dentro do circuito do paciente. o umidificador eleva a umidade do circuito. o monitor monitora pelo menos um parâmetro do gás da fonte de gás. os sensores geram os sinais correspondentes que podem ser processados a fim de estimar uma taxa em que o vapor é adicionado ao gás no circuito do paciente. o processador determina o nível de umidade do gás no circuito do paciente a jusante do umidificador com base nos sinais gerados pelos sensores e em pelo menos um parâmetro do gás na fonte de gás.
