Abstract

DESSULFURIZAçãO OXIDATIVA DE óLEO COMBUSTìVEL. A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a purificação de um óleo combustível que contém enxofre que compreende (a) por em contato em uma primeira mistura da reação o óleo combustível que contém enxofre com catalisador exógeno binário, peróxido de hidrogênio e um ácido solúvel em água a uma temperatura em uma faixa de desde aproximadamente 25° C até aproximadamente 150° C para fornecer uma primeira mistura oxidada e (b) separar pelo menos one composto de enxofre oxidado from a primeira mistura oxidada para fornecer um óleo combustível purificado. A primeira mistura da reação pode também compreender um catalisador de transferência de fase. Além disso, o óleo combustível que contém enxofre pode ser desasfaltado antes do contato com o catalisador, peróxido de hidrogênio e o ácido solúvel em água.
