Abstract
órtese inibidora do ronco e da apnéia. o objeto da patente tem por finalidade registrar os aperfeiçoamentos feitos a partir do modelo original, ganhando o aparelho em conforto e eficiência e cujo objetivo é o controle dos principais distúrbios do sono, quais sejam, o ronco, a apnéia obstrutiva do sono e o bruxismo. o controle desses distúrbios reverte-se em sono de boa qualidade proporcionando bem estar fisico e mental e permitindo ao indivíduo a retomada de sua vida social com o compartilhamento de ambientes coletivos em viagens, férias e na intimidade de sua própria família. a órtese poderá ser utilizada por todas as pessoas, de ambos os sexos, que apresentem os distúrbios de ronco, apnéia obstrutiva do sono e bruxismo, sendo que o paciente pode apresentar esses problemas associados ou apenas um deles. constituída por um corpo principal fabricado em polietileno teraftalato glicol, (nome comercial pet-g ou acetato) ou qualquer outro material que se adéqüe à função, corpo esse formado por duas partes, uma destinada ao maxilar superior (01) e outra destinada ao maxilar inferior (02), caracterizada pelo fato de que as partes (01) e (02) são unidas por um sistema de fios e tubos (03) e (09) aplicados em ambas as laterais das partes constituintes, permitindo o deslocamento frontal, lateral e vertical da parte inferior em relação à parte superior.
